I need to buy Nexium or the generic equivalent.

 

Does anyone know the cost in Thailand?

 

I tried Miracid but its not as effective and i prefer a proton pump inhibitor to antacids. because i need to take them every day over the long term, something Miracid is not made for.

Miracid IS a proton pump inhibitor. It is omeprazole and just as suited for daily use as Nexium (though prolonged use of any PPI has side effects/potential down side).

Nexium is esomeprazole. There is no generic version yet. There are however many inexpensive generics of omeprazole of which Miracid is one.
