Thai national seeking USA tourist visa.

Is it necessary to translate all documents in Thai to English for the US Embassy when seeking a USA tourist visa? the Embassy website does not list this as a requirement but I thought I would check with the experts.

It will be up to the officer who actually interviews the applicant. When we handed our application form and got our waiting number, the only other doccument they took was our letter of intentions.

At the interview, the man did not vevn ask to see our other doccuments, so maybe they wont ask to see anything, just alot of tricky questions!

However, we took, Bank books, marriage cert, letters from friends and many other doccuments, even future travel itinerarys to proove we would leave. He only looked in my wifes pasport and saw a PR visa for another country and that was the proof that we would leave. Good luck, and I wouldn't worry if you dont have translations.

If you have inlcuded a Marrige Certifcate or property deeds, I would have those translated. But then, Iwould have English translation done already.
