Marvel has held talks with Keanu Reeves about joining the MCU

Marvel boss Kevin Feige has confirmed that he’s held discussions with Keanu Reeves about a potential role in the MCU.

 

The Matrix star has enjoyed a late career return to action movies with the John Wick franchise, so it’s understandable that Marvel want to secure his talents.

 

“We talk to him for almost every film we make,” Feige told ComicBook.com.

 

However, fans shouldn’t perhaps get too excited – Feige says that they’re yet to sort a role for the in-demand Canadian star.

Better not take the offer. Marvel is starting going downhill with it's alphabet-feminist trend. Wick is still a real dude.

I hope he doesn't.  These comic-based movies have become mind-numbing.  It would be like taking Grade A rib-eye and tossing it in a can of commercial meat-stew in an attempt of sexy-it-up-a-bit.  

Keanu's genre in some of his successful movies doesn't rely on super comic powers nor unique super weapons and other devices. Heck, he doesn't even wear a comic-type costume other than black bullet proof business suits with knife welding belts and shoes.

He might find a role like the Winter Solider or The Punisher but really he fits into more the Bourne genre. But that's not Marvel.

They should call it what it is....Disney.

It's unfortunate Disney hopped on the SJW/Alphabet/Feminist/Leftie bandwagon and ruined the Marvel brand. They still do have some other subsidiaries like Pixar that make half decent cartoons that don't have as heavy a propagandist leaning. On the other hand, Disney does have a long history of propaganda so should come as no surprise.

 

 

 

All the Marvel tv shows appear to be strong independent white female lead having sex with black male lead, and the baddie is always a middle class white guy.

I do like Jessica Jones though. More original Marvel-ish with a very dark undertone. Sure Luke Cage boned her and the bad guys are white guys. The reason is probably it's a Netflix series and not Disney.
