Filming for Fast and Furious 9, the latest installment of the action packed Fast and Furious franchise will take place from July 1 - 27.

Parts of the movie will be shot in Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi and Surat Thani.

Earlier this week the vehicles used in the movie arrived in Thailand.

Thaivisa has been given exclusive access to images of the vehicles before filming gets underway next month.

Apichai Aranyik, head of the Krabi Tourism Authority said that filming of FF9 will be great news for the province.

He said that the producers of the film chose Krabi for its great natural scenery and limestone cliffs.

Previous reports claimed that the filming of the movie would bring in 340 million baht for the economy in Southern Thailand.

Nah, that's the new livery for Bangkok taxis.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Any bets on whether they will survive the traffic until filming starts?

Where is the black charger?

This movie will be indirectly responsible for a whole lot of future Accidents and not only in Thailand !!!

I see a new tour opportunity that surely someone will start.  The FF9 tour showcasing all the filming locations.  Oh joy!

Prawit Wongsuwon has borrowed it for a while, promised to hand it back before filming starts.

During film production, these American cars with modern emission control devices will emit less pollution together, than will a single Thai Tuk-Tuk.

I've read that a two-stroke engine emits as much pollution as 30-40 cars.
