Rob4
We registered to a Thai language school for 6 months with an option to extend the course to 9 months. 1. Did anyone got rejected when doing the first 3 months extension(inland)? do they test my Thai language ? 2. Did anyone got rejected when extending the second time (6 months to 9 months) ? 3. Have anyone managed to take 2 courses in a row without problems ? (each 9 months) Thanks.
soistalker
I was in a one year program with ED visa. The school insisted that students pay extra money for bribes to the immigration office. In fact, we were not even required to go to immigration every 3 months. That's what the bribery was for. Your school is maybe same same.

jspill
Extended at the 3 month point for 1500 bribe on top of the 1900, at BKK immigration, then at the 6 month point for two more months, no bribe that time, just the 1900 at immigration again. Total 8 months, they said 9 months wasn't possible. No language test. Had friends that did two 8 month courses in a row without problems, except having to get the visa itself elsewhere, e.g. Vietnam instead of Laos if the first one was from Laos.
