Never quite sure if Thai travel is included here but the Southern Forum is pretty much dead so thought I would ask here.

 

Anyone have experience of Khanom at all?

 

Will be going for a few days next month, despite being in Nakhon Si Thammarat there's very little info about getting from the airport to Khanom and it almost seems like Surat Thani may be a better arrival point (airport to 'town' and then bus to Nakorn Si ... then??)

 

Anyone have any first hand knowledge, I am happy to fly into either place.

 

Also, getting from Nakhon Si to Koh Pha Ngan, so very close but how's the transport to those piers, easily down?

I love Khanom, but first, getting there without a car is difficult, second, once you're there, you need a car to get about.
