Gandtee
My friend has just posted a picture of an egg he found at the roadside. Maybe there are some bird experts out there who can identify it?

ColeBOzbourne
Snake eggs generally have soft, leathery shells while bird eggs are always hard. Most, but not all, reptile eggs are soft shelled. What does the shell feel like? It would also help to know the size of the egg.
Gandtee
It was my friend who came across it. He says it was about an inch long and slimy. I would go along with the snake egg assumption. One of my searches came across a photo of a similar egg in what was a religious offering. It was captioned Pierra de naga. French? I've not uncovered the species of snake, that is if it is a snakes egg. The mystery deepens.???? Edited July 2, 2019 by Gandtee Spelling
