Can You Offer Home Stay ?

Hello all.

HOMESTAY - YOU HAVE ROOM FOR RENT ?

My topic is serious : I look for any foreigner at any place in Thailand, outside the city, who have a spare bedroom, and like to have new foreign (paying) guests/friend.

I am tired of tourist places and big cities, and miss normal life in Thailand.

Also I'm single and looking for a girlfriend and future wife to be. :o

I know I'll get a lot of comments now, but wish someone who have room for rent in a small village, will PM me.

Have contacted different "homestay" on internet, but no response.

Hi Mac1

It is so cheap to rent a room anywhere really in Isaan it begs the question why would you want to share with someone else. Your own room would give a base and privacy from which you could explore the region. Take a drive or taxi through any city or town in the north east and its not long before you see signs up showing places for rent. My sister-in-law rents an apartment within Ubon city for 1,200B/month very basic but i've seen very clean nice rooms for rent for 3,500B/month. Just explore and take refuge in a short term hotel for a few days until your are sorted with a place to long term rent.

There's HOUSES outside Korat city...30 kms...$1500-2000

Unfurnished though

I thought this was interesting do the have roommates that share homes here?

I'm with the other guys here like my privacy. But, I can see for someone new to an area wanting a friend to share time and experiences with. Usually roommates in my experience are friends or become friends.

Let a stranger move in with me? hve keys? bring other folks I don't know around my electronics? when a place to rent of your own is so cheap?

Please let me be more clear :

I not want to share a room. Not want roommates. I look for people who have a business RENTING OUT spare bedroom or better : a small guest house in their garden for rent. Why ? I like to meet the local people and to maybe find a lifetime partner, read :wife. Anyone who know rural Thailand know that you must be introduced by friends, to get a chanse to date a nice lady. So if you stay with another foreigner and his wife, the wife usually know many nice ladies who are interested in a foreign husband.

Renting a room by myself, just doesn't work. Without Thai friend who can introduse you to other Thai people- not easy to get a date ...

Been there - done that. :o

Hope this clear up any misunderstandings.

Oh, that clears it up just fine :o

Im not sure if I can find the right words um, I will get back to you on this later.

Uh good luck.

Come on guys.

have got 1 good contact but wonder if there isn't more ?

Realy, this is good business : when I moved to Thailand, I rented a small house in the garden of another foreigner who told me he been doin this for 12 years now, and doing quit good money on this.

The ides is free - I know what I'll do when the time comes ( make 2-3 small cottages in the garden and advertise in the newspapers back home).

Any ?

PM me for some options! :o

regards Trond
