Bars Closed June 2nd

My friend who works in a go go pattaya has been told her bar is closed on 2nd june,is this just pattaya or everywere.

She said it was a public holiday,but not according to this,or is it not been updated

They've got the wrong date down for Visakha Bucha day.

Check http://www.thailand-uk.com/diary.html and it's shown as June 2nd. This agrees with what I heard on the radio this morning.

So think of it like Christmas and Easter combined, and don't expect much to happen on Wednesday. Unless you're planning to go to the Wat.
