GU22 Posted March 13, 2007 Share Posted March 13, 2007 Looks very similar to the interview that new, adult residents have to have in order to get an NI number, and for the same reason. It's a pain, but I can see why it's necessary. However, with biometrics, wont all passport holders have to attend an office at some stage to have our fingerprints etc. taken? When my daughter renewed her Thai passport last year she couldn't do so by post but had to go to the RTE in Kensington for that very reason.
