I can only recommend to read this book ...

By the way, this book is right now available in two places, for the ones who are interested - out of Giles's office in Chula, and also in the Thammasat University bookstore.

Chula bookstore refused to distribute the book, and no other outlet carries it.

Where is the Thammasat bookstore? At the Uni?

Yes, it is. Dunno about the Rangsit campus, but should be at the Tha Pa Chan campus, the one near Sanam Luang.

No joke. There more than a few people who do feel that way. Unfortunately though the presently most vocal factions are in either camp, and therefore it is a bit difficult for the ones with more thought through opinions to get heard.

But yes, i can assure that Giles is critical of both, and has been a Thaksin opponent while the most vocal Thaksin opponents were still very much on Thaksin's side, such as Sondhi L., Chamlong & Co.

I went to the office to buy his book at the faculty of political science at chula. Interesting they have posters in thai talking about his book around the faculty, asking questions as to why it was banned?

for those looking for the office:

the best way to go there is from henri dunant road as the faculty is near the entrance which is opposite the scb bank.

thamasat uni bookstore said they have no copies and they also checked on the online book catelogue without any luck
