March 14, 200719 yr Hi All, Can any new home builders give me some info on roof gutters. Price per metres supplied, supplied and fitted. My wife has had a quote for Galvonised (200B /metre) and Stainless Steel(500B/metre) supplied and fitted. I would prefer to be able to colour co-ordinate the gutters with the roof tiles and although I appreciated the long life of Stainless Steel I think it would look a bit "industrial". I have contacted Blue Scope Steel Thailand but the Colorbond steel guttering is apparently not available in Thailand. Any tips anybody? Khun Andy

Khun Andy I used PVC drain pipe. 150 mm diameter with 1/4 of the pipe cut away. Then painted it. There are some pictures here: http://gallery.thaivista.net/thumbnails.ph...m=15&page=5

I have a brochure somewhere... They are selling a nice fibre glass gutter in Homepro in Pats now. I have seen houses with it installed and it looks good. It's available in various styles of pipe sections, proper styled fittings, clamps etc. will be more expensive than the Galvy - weld in situ stuff but would be worth the extra investment I feel, for good looks and longevity
