Hi I have just attended Kanchanaburi immigration for my last 90 day report before my visa extension in October.  I decided to ask about the situation of monthly foreign deposits into my Thai bank after the British Embassy stopped issuing pension letters.  I explained that From the 1st of January 2019 my pension was being paid into my Bangkok bank in excess of 50,000 baht by foreign transfer around the same time each month, and this would only show as 10  months on the date of extension

Her first reply was "Just put 400,000 baht in the bank now" when I explained the fact that I couldn,t do both and support a family. And mentioned that Thai Immigration promised to  give us leniency in the first year she just smiled and replied "No Leniency No visa"

Perhaps she is right after the Embassy abandoned us, Maybe Ubon Joe can answer the question of Leniency.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Leniency isn't for free, it's of course only for people who apply through an agent who pays the IO.

Maybe in your neck of the woods, but not in mine.
