Yes, restaurants are cheaper in Saigon in the outer districts but then you have to weigh that up against the often slow and unattentive service. Surprising when restaurants seem to have so many staff. 

 

Don't know what the survey author was smoking, as supermarkets aren't that cheap here.

    Vietnam has the right combination at the moment, to entice tourists & workers alike. Thailand is just making it harder with every new step they make in the immigration or work permit process!
