AIS card expired - how to change OTP in Krungsri

Featured Replies

My AIS card bought in feb 2018 has expired because I can't connect it to any network abroad. When I'm trying to top-up it online I'm getting:

The service is available only AIS One-2-Call.

I used it for OTP in Krungsri.

The last time I used the card and it was active was in December.

So what are my options? Can I reactivate that card somehow or is it possible to change OTP number by calling them?

Or the only option is to go to Thailand and visit branch to register a new number?

I am afraid you are stuck when not in Thailand.

Absolutely no. That would frighten me. It's not even possible after successful login to internet banking. You would have to visit a branch with your passport.

SIM card: do you have any contact in Thailand who could try a small topup like 50 Baht?

Just the number is needed.

When in Thailand you would go to an AIS service center trying to reactivate. But unlikely that a proxy (contact) can do that. Worth a try.
