Now Im trying to re-install 2FA on google. I was logged into gmail and went to security settings. Navigated to the 2FA area and the following page is displayed:

Use your phone as your second sign-in step

Google will send a secure notification to your phone as your second factor during 2-Step Verification.

Get Google prompts on these devices now

All devices signed in to your Google Account will get prompts. You can control which phones get prompts in your 2-Step Verification settings.

My phone is listed under this narrative.

i clicked on the try it now button

then the following screen is displayed:

Try getting a Google prompt
Google sent a prompt to xxxxx iPhone.

Open the Gmail app and tap Yes on the prompt.
