Hi, I am a UK citizen (currently living in the UK) and am applying for a Thai retirement visa, I have all the requirements and documentation but am unsure if I should/can apply online, by post or in person at the Royal Thai Embassy in London. I would rather have the retirement visa before going to Thailand. There does seem to be some conflicting information as the Thai Embassy seems to suggest that I must apply online after June 2019 and provides a link to the Evisa website , but having successfully completed the first 4 steps, I am unable to complete step 5 as the system does not have a facility to upload supporting documentation in order to complete the application. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Incidentally I have emailed the Embassy for help but to no avail.

Your only choice is to do the application online. What type of visa are trying to apply for (non-o or OA long stay visa).

After completing the online application you can mail your passport and supporting documents  to the embassy.

At step 4, you print off and sign the declaration.

You scan all your supporting documents into a file, including the printed and signed declaration.

At step 5 you then upload your documents from the file you scanned them into.
