Pattayatony
For any TV members wanting to get a passport copy done. Go to the Kodak shop on Beach road Jomtien and they will do the reduced size (Credit Card Size) and laminate it for 12Baht all up. Hope that helps some of you. See Im not a complete Arss all the time. Cheers Tony
begsaresponse
Or you can buy the laminating material at Tesco Lotus for 30 baht...take it home photocopy your passport...get an iron switch it on.....place the photocopy in the laminating material and seal the laminating material with the hot iron. This way when you renew your visa you can easily redo your copy without even leaving the house.
NanLaew
and for those too scared to venture out to the jomtien 'bad lands' or without an iron, the kodak express on #2 road opposite RG does same-same for same-same as tonys does

Maybe that is why they reject some copies - why not give them an actual size copy ?
Mighty Mouse
What makes you think Immigration Police are happywith " reduced size " ? Maybe that is why they reject some copies - why not give them an actual size copy ? I'd like a definitive answer to those questions also. Will the authorities accept a copy only? I have never carried my passport or a copy of it either. A full size laminated copy would be a nuisance to carry around in my shorts, but if only a full size is acceptable, then so be it. Perhaps somebody living near the Immigration office could be kind enough to get some official answers to these questions.
