CNY to Breach 7 to USD

Featured Replies

CNY is forecast to be more than 7 CNY to 1 USD, now 6.93 CNY =1 USD. With the strong baht, it looks like all those Chinese will be paying a lot more for a vacation/trip to Thailand. Some experts forecast further weakening CNY to 7.3 CNY for 1 USD.

a terrible thought. wonder whether i can sleep tonight. :w00t:

This US/China trade war may hit us in Thailand in other ways.  The US may retaliate by weakening the USD.  This will be wonderful news for American expats around the world (note heavy sarcasm).

[...there are several “recourses” being discussed in the U.S. on the subject of foreign exchange depreciation — such as “attempts by Congressmen to put other bills through Congress ... to call for a depreciation of the dollar.”]
