Was getting your work permit in Thailand fast & easy for you?

Featured Replies

Nope, nothing goes fast, smooth or easy. That´s why I love it. I got mine, so you will get yours to if all is by the book and the LD

My first one took four months. My last one took four days. Those in between were in between. It depends mostly on the knowledge, organizational ability and priority given by your personnel officer.

more than 15 years here... working... Work permit was the easiest part to get. takes max 3 days.. every time! All i need is my passport, photo, 3100 baht.. rest my company doing all. when i gave my passport and all, i get everything back ready in 3 days, sure.

immigration part was the nightmare always... And they started to ask more paper work every time... So thats why i moved to NON-O and no deal with imm anymore.

Did you process it all by yourself or you got help from agencies like iglu?

I processed it myself through own company with 8 Thai´s, my wife, another foreigner and me.

Depends on your company size, type and location, for example BOI / IEAT work permits are easy to get with the correct documentation.
