THAI president Sumet Damrongchaitham said this morning (Monday) that he has asked the company’s executives, himself included, to cut their meeting allowances and remuneration voluntarily to show spirit in helping the organization get through this crisis.

So with their incompetence in running an airline they have the audacity to ask executives to give up perks !!!

My god what a shower of idiots.

Thai airways has gone from a once fairly prestigious carrier to a debt ridden company failing at every level but without the backbone to get rid of the dinosaurs running it !

Regarding the financial crisis within THAI Airways, earlier today (Saturday 2 November 2019) I received an e-mail from a UK friend asking for latest information as a UK based travel agent has just warned its UK customers booked with THAI Airways that the airline is on the brink of collapse and there could be problems with their holiday flights. This is posted for reference by any prospective passengers.
