Video: Instant karma as thief gets his comeuppance

Dash cam footage showed a car thief crash into shop houses on the Petchkasem Road after side swiping another vehicle. 

 

All was normal in the dash cam car when a pick-up suddenly hits their side window and cuts in front. 

 

But within seconds the pick-up crashes into the side of the road and damages three shop houses. 

 

The driver then dashes off on foot. The incident happened near the t-junction at Tha Yang in Petchaburi province.

 

Sanook said comments on the story on "Hear Khap Rot" suggested that the pick-up had been stolen from Hua Hin and was heading in the direction of Ratchaburi. 

 

The police soon made an arrest, it is believed. 

 

Sanook offered no explanation for the fact that the footage showed 2016 as the date.
