There is a big stuffed animals store in town if you go around the moat on the outside, heading south from NE (Si Phum Corner) pass Thapae Gate, Lai Thai Guest House, and make a left at the SE corner of the moat (Ka Tam Corner). It'll be on your left at the corner of the next soi. The stuffed animals are spilling onto the sidewalk. Been in a couple times, have yet to see a lifesized monkey or gorilla yet.

If you go in and tell them what you want, they will give you a price to make one up! I had occasion to use their services some while back, and found them very helpful.

If you want the genuine article, a large monkey prepared by a competent taxidermist, you will be breaking several laws, even in Thailand. You can find them in parts of Burma and Indonesia, very badly made and almost guaranteed to be confiscated if you try to cross a border with one.

You want to stuff a big Ass - Many places around town offer this possibility to those so inclined, unless you are talking about a donkey, in which case you probably need to visit the pack squadron just off the canal road and ask permission. However I fear they have mules, not asses.

If you want a cuddly toy, go to the shop mentioned above.
