Phuket’s most expensive car number plate is ‘9999’ costing more than 700K

PHUKET: Phuket expat diver and French national Maksym Polejaka has received a royal award for his role in the rescue of the 13 “Moo Pa” (“Wild Boar”) children footballers and their coach trapped in the flooded Tham Luang cave in Chiang Rai last year.

Australian tourist found dead in Phuket resort pool

PHUKET: A 49-year-old Australian man was found dead in a resort pool in Nai Harn this morning (Sept 11). At this stage Chalong Police believe that his death may be related to medication he was taking for bipolar disorder.

Smaller Nakhon Ratchasima dams must wait for rain: Irrigation office

The Nakhon Ratchasima irrigation office is preparing to pump water to medium-sized dams which have suffered a critically low water level at 0.3 per cent of capacity. However, the office said it must wait for rain to fill the larger dam first.

The group “Chao Phut Phalang Phaendin” (Buddhists who are the power of the land) on Wednesday (September 11) filed a police complaint against a fourth-year university student for depicting Buddha as an Ultraman superhero in four paintings that were on display at a Nakhon Ratchasima shopping mall early this month.
