Nursery school lunches pass inspection

PATTAYA:--In spite of some unsubstantiated rumors to the contrary, the food being served in local schools is up to Ministry of Education standards. Students receive nutrition from the 5 food groups each and every day of the school year.

 

So says Wichai Luangmuangpattaya, chairman of basic education commission at Nongprue Municipal Kindergarten, and Kittisak Sirilert, the school’s director. The two administrators invited reporters to see for themselves on Sept. 6.

 

Wichai told the gathered media that his commission gives lunch standards the highest priority. Each year, schools prepare daily menus and send them to the commission for consideration. If the menus are not appropriate or up to standards, they make adjustments to bring them in line.
