Hi, my Bangkok Bank account is linked to my PayPal but I keep getting messages "cannot transfer". Anyone else had this issue?

which way are you trying to transfer, from PayPal to your bank account or vice versa? Here in Thailand you can ONLY transfer funds FROM PayPal to your Thai bank account. You cannot transfer in the other direction.

Transfer to BBL ok. Transfer to PayPal from BBL is a big NoNo.

Aloha, I transfer twice each week from Bank of Hawaii to my wife's Bangkok bank account with no problems.  Never Ever transfer from BKK to USA.  Can cause problems with the process. Good Luck to You.

Transfer this Saturday morning (09/14/2019 USA Time: 9:30am) the 

exchange rate was 29.29.   BTH vs USA Dollar

Moved $700.00 to BKK bank account.  No Problem.

 

Dang.  What a horrible exchange rate!!

The thread is about transferring "out" of Thailand; not into Thailand.

From PP but now waiting to see if it's sorted.

The money was transferred into Paypal Thailand from USA. It arrived no problem but the issue was trasferring out of PP into my BB account.
