Hello I have an O-A , and will exit the country 2x till it expires Next Sept 2020,  I am aware of being able to obtain REP at Suvarnamaphum, but would prefer to get 2 single entries this week or next at Chang Wattana Tor Mor ,

Is this allowed/ or is there some reason not to do so ?

PS: from previous years, it seems like it may not be as important to be early arrival for REP, eg  the 1st 200 ?  but, I have heard, that things have gotten worse, any suggested arrival time for REP purposes only ? (tried the REP appt page, eventually gave up)

I got my annual multiple re-entry permit Friday at Div. 1/CW. I also did my 90-day report.

I arrived CW ~ 06:15, got pre-pre-pre-pre queue number 111, re-queued at 08:00, entered at 08:25, re-queued, got C1 05, called into cubicle ~ 08:45, paid (then got a queue for the 90-day report). Passport returned ~ 09:00. Didn't seem like too many people in the C area on Friday, and it seems like they've streamlined the process - in past years you paid, then maybe waited ~ 2 hours. Was also at CW on Wednesday (last week) doing my annual ext stay/ret and the C area seemed sparsely attended through ~ 10:15 when I finished.

If Friday was any indication, you could arrive at 09:00 and be out by 10:00-ish. The only nice thing about going early is no traffic.

I'd get a multiple re-entry permit, or get the single, then deal with the next one as required (againa t CW or at the airport).

The 90-day wait was ~ 45 minutes.

The B desk (TM30) was swamped on Friday, maybe a couple hundred forlks waiting, but they have ~ four staff churning through applicants relatively quickly.

If you really have a valid non Imm O-A visa that expires in one year, why do you need a re-entrty permit?

Or do you mean you have an extension of stay based on retirement t.hat you obtained after the O-A visa expired?
