Whether it being renewal or at the Amphur the other day, my TM6 slip is gone. I do have a color copy of the front and back, but is this ok to copy and put in my passport, or do I need to go get a new one from CM immigration? I also have a 90 day check in to do, so this is the headache.

 

 

You should get a new one at immigration. I don't think a copy of one will not be accepted.

Do it at the same time you do your 90 day report.

Is TM6 the same as 'departure card', if so , I've been using copies for more than a decade using the mail option for 90 day reports.

For mailed in reports only a copy for the the TM6 departure card is needed.

Other things done at immigration in person will require the original.

Today was no problem. Honestly the color print on my copier comes out to the exact dimensions of the real TM6. So I cut it down to real looking TM6 size and it was accepted and then asked the IO if this will be a problem if I go to an airport as is a copy and the answer was no problem. I also showed the IO the just printed A4 uncut version. So honestly who the heck knows. The copy looks really good from the printer with the cut to down size looking true to par, and so the IO said no need to do a new one and no problem. So UBJ, your guess is a s good as mine for what is acceptable in the end at the airport. Thank you as always, we always need help sometime here and there even if seasoned expats.

BTW. This was doing the 90 day. And CM is an in and out now for this now. Seems timewise is totally sorted under 2 minutes from producing pp to out the door.
