Why is there this kind of "impossible communication" between farang and thais ?
Where do you stay? Many Thais become jaded in the tourist areas. For example. I've noticed many Thais in Pattaya lose their politeness and usual Thai hospitality that still can be found in many parts of Bangkok. The smile and welcome, even into a 7-11 seems to be alive and well in many parts of Bangkok but all but absent in Pattaya. -

Overall I think their problem is they let the GOP run over them, even when they hold the cards. The GOP should actually love Pelosi for letting them dump all over the ACA before it got passed; I was so aggravated by this (and still am, where's my blood pressure gauge?) that I did not vote in 2012. I'm in favor of bringing back the Puritan punishment devices: 12 hours on the dunking stool for Susan Collins (part of the vanguard of deceptively watering down the ACA) would do us all some good, just might wash the hypocrite out of her.. Summary: the Dems bring a spoon to a knife fight. -

But he’s been here for 15 years. I know many of you have been and longer, Would anyone have known then that their pensions would be frozen later on ? Thailand was cheaper to live in too 15 yrs ago, so it must have looked attractive over the UK or many other colder countries. I find it’s disgusting, you pay in alll your working life to get what ? I’m glad I don’t live in the UK, left in 1969, and I’m so glad . -
