Kor Ror 2

Recommended Posts

Hi,

In next few weeks I will be submitting documents to the Ubon office for my first extension of stay based on marriage.

I am a bit stuck on this Kor Ror 2. Can anyone explain what this is? I see someone said it's some kind of registration certificate but if I have my original marriage certificate, why exactly is this needed as well?

How do I go about obtaining it, is it something that takes a few days or is it issued immediately? Do I really need it?

Thanks in advance.

OK, apologies but I'm getting a bit anxious because if I get turned away it's an entire day plus petrol wasted. Am I missing anything:

TM 7 (x2)

Printed bank statement/letter (to be done on the same morning)

Updated bank book (updated same day)

Photos of us in living room, kitchen, bedroom, front of house with house number showing. 2 per page, black and white.

Kor Ror 2

Copy of TM 6 departure card.

Copies of every page of my passport.

Copies of Tabien Baan.

Copy of wife's ID card.

2 passport photos.

Copies of marriage certificate plus original.

Hand drawn map of house location in village.

1900 baht.

2 passport photos.

Phew!

I wasnt told about housebook, just my wife's. Mine is in a different address.

I was t told by the IO that the statement had to be done on the same day.

I was told 4 photos of wife and kids, not in bedroom, outside, garden and living room.

Think of it as a fun day out, like Thais do.

They should be be color photos.

Map to the house from nearest main road or intersection.

All copies must be signed. Wife's ID and house book signed by her. We sign everything before going to the office then the officer does a stamp over them.

Photos for the TM7 forms need to be 4 X 6 cm (or 2 X 2 inch).
