Finance Minister Uttama Savanayana

The Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) will serve as a model for the development of similar zones in terms of the infrastructure and human resources, Finance Minister Uttama Savanayana said on Friday (October 4).

He was speaking at the seminar “EEC Next: Aeropolis and Logistic Hub of Asean” hosted by Krungthep Turakij in Rayong.

Uttama said the government has pushed many key projects for the EEC, which would boost investor confidence.

There must be loads of money in developing these places because I've not really heard any real news about big international business or even Thai businesses setting up shop there but they might be keeping it secret....

It’s a well established model, but they didn’t pull it off yet, and good luck with skilled workers and immigration issues
