opening up a guesthouse next year and my question is as follow, just made a sigh to put on my wall to my quest house and i know that i will pay a cost for the size of the sigh. i understand that a movable sigh on wheels there is no charge if i can bring it in every night, is there a charge fo hanging a sign with i hooked  to my canopy and remove them in the evening also.

This has been around forever, just pay it once a year like everyone else and be done with it.

was not trying to avoid taxes but hanging and rolling the

Heard a rumour years ago any signeage is English (or other non thai language) also had to have the name in Thai or else other taxes were applicable.

Tax is more expensive if english only. To get the Thai signage price you can have both Thai and English but Thai must be ABOVE the English. I have seen many where Thai is quite small in comparison but always above. If you hang it I think you would need to pay tax, normally they check in the daytime !!
