Has anyone tried the Revolut card as regular payment for pension into Thai bank account.

It uses interbank exchange rate and charges 0.5%. I don't know if this is good or bad compared with other means.

I don't think it uses interbank rate for thai baht and Russian ruble, check the small print. Certainly that was the case for the card for purchases and ATM withdrawals so i closed my account

Are you meaning transfer GBP into THB into your Revolut THB account and then sending those THB, or sending GBP to say Bkk Bank and letting them do the exchange?

Personally, I was thinking of loading it with UK sterling, transferring to Thai Baht and withdrawing either over the counter of a bank or via an ATM.

More generally, I thought it may be useful for retirees, using the monthly payment into a Thai bank.

There are better £ options such as:

Halifax Clarity card for withdrawals
Starling Bank card for withdrawals
Transferwise for transfers
