Investigators file cases agaist 21 Bangkok bombing suspects

BANGKOK (NNT) - Progress has been made during the 2-month investigation period of a bombing and arson incidents in Bangkok on 1-2 August this year. Investigators have tracked down 21 suspects, and filed charges against them to the prosecutor.

 

A Deputy Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police Pol Gen Suwat Jangyodsuk has led a team of investigation to carry 13,000 pages of investigation reports and supporting documents from 18 bombing cases in Bangkok and neighbouring provinces to process the filing 11 charges including crime syndication, terrorism, and other charges. The documents have been submitted to the Department of Criminal Litigation Director General Singchai Thaninson at the Office of the Attorney General. Suspects number 1 to 21 have all been charges with alleged crime syndication.

 

Suspects number 1, 2, and 21 have already been held in temporary custody at the Criminal Court, while suspects number 3-20, all 18 of them, have fled the country. The Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for them since 17-18 September, which will be valid to summon them for prosecution for 20 years. Investigators are now tracking down their whereabouts, with initial findings showing their residencies in southern border provinces.

 

The Department of Criminal Litigation Deputy General Pornchai Chonwanichkul said the process of charges filing will be completed for the three suspects in detention, whose detention time limit will ends in 12 days, and further announcements will be made after the report papers have all been thoroughly examined.

 

The three suspects have been detained in 6 different shifts pending their charges hearing. They have been arrests for suspicious behaviour led to alleged involvement in explosive making, from their traces found in explosion devices placed in front of the Royal Thai Police headquarters in Bangkok, a series of several bombing incidents in Bangkok, and Nonthaburi. The investigators have filed charges for 18 individual cases, namely 4 cases in the service area of Pathumwan Police Station, 2 in the area of Yanawa Police Station, 7 in the area of Phaya Thai Police Station, 4 in the area of Thung Song Hong Police Station, and 1 in the area of Pak Kret Police Station.

Take all their assets - every single one - and if they have partners or kids - stuff their families and take it all anyway. Destroy their lives and those of their family - that is what they tried to do to others.  Put those caught in the deepest hotest hell hole and let nature take its course.  Absolutely nil sympathy and maximum punishment.

These type of people are scum....  they sneak and hide and cheat all while making out they are sweet innocent and caring. They are the lowest of the low and should be incarcerated for life.
