Sending parcel to Auss

Featured Replies

Hello all

Have searched the Forum & I know I have come across it before but can't find in search engine

Planning to send (depending) maybe 10 kg max parcel

Would like to have it here in at least 2 wks

I'v seen there are some good ways to send but can't find

Parcel maybe valued at 1500 bht or 3000 bht online in Auss $150 & not sure about same properties or quality

It will be an Hatari Orbital fan (adjustable radius ) from Home Pro

A fan that weighs 10kg, really? anyway, Thai post will be around 3900 baht if you want it in a reasonable time, otherwise around 1900 baht.

We used Thai post many times - including some gear when we returned here to Aus. - all up about 6 boxes if I recall.   Never a problem, and much less expensive that any courier or transport company that I could find.  The prices Charlie quoted look right to me from memory.

PS - take a photo of the contents before you tape up and seal the box/es. Or seal the box at the post office.  You have to declare what is in the box, and when we did it they wanted to see inside. So after the first time, we took photos of what was inside each one on subsequent trips there.  If you are only doing one, then probably a good idea to take not tape it all up til you get there.  If I recall - 'used household gear' was usaed - and 'used electronics' was another.
