Kurtf
I'll admit I'm pretty much of a lame brain when it comes to these different types of visas. I've been living here in Thailand for 7 years with a retirement visa that I renew each year. I have no idea if it is an xo or xa visa or an XYZ visa. My question is will I have to show proof of health insurance as well as a bank balance of 800k baht to get my visa renewed again next year? Jingthing
Two questions. Did you get your original visa in Thailand? If yes you started with an O visa and currently you won't need insurance for continuing annual extensions. If not if you applied for your original visa in your home country was a police background and medical form needed? If so you started with an OA visa and based on current reports likely will need insurance at your next extension. Otherwise if you got your initial visa outside Thailand you started with an O and no insurance required.
