Hi Everyone,

I'll (hopefully) be taking the interview for permanent residence permit soon, and was hoping for some guidance on the questions?

Can anyone advise on this please?

Thanks.

Hmm... mine started with the usual "what's your name, where you're from, what do you do here, where do you live, are you married..." and then it goes off to any direction depending on your answers. Ended up being a very pleasant conversation in my case. Alas in formal Thai, and in front of camera.

Speaking Thai is maybe half of the points they count. But they just seem happy with very informal conversational Thai.

This might have changed now ????

When I applied for PR in August, IO asked most questions in formal Thai.

Probably the actual interview as well...

That is good advice. I got mine about 5 years ago and they had a list of questions starting with tell us about yourself. Think being relaxed and coming out with information that wasn't asked helped to ensure they didnt catch me out because we ran out of time haha.
