Henry Cavill Says He's Still Superman

By James White

Henry Cavill's status as Clark Kent, AKA Superman, would seem to be very much up in the air of late. Warner Bros. and DC have no current solid plans for a new standalone Supes film, and he wasn't used for the (spoiler alert) the quick Kal-El cameo in Shazam!. Yet according to the man himself, he's still very much in the role.

"The cape is in the closet," Cavill tells Men's Health as part of a sprawling interview about his career in general and Netflix's The Witcher in particular. "It’s still mine."

And he's not done, as later in the article he returns to the point: "I’m not just going to sit quietly in the dark as all this stuff is going on,"

Cavill says of the rumours that his time in the suit is over.

You can't be serious. I'll take George Reeves or Dean Cain any day over Christopher.
