Hi I have 5x10 m pool that looses 16000 litres of water over a week then stops, one company believes it the the vacum inlet pipe as the water stop just below this (20cm). The other company says its main inlet on the base of the pool as air is also getting in the line. They wanting to fully drain the pool and plug these inlet then refill to see if this is the course. iv seen online that these inlets can be pressure tested but that doesnt seem to be a option in pattaya. Does anyone have any history of company preforming pressure test or swimming pool leak repairs in the pattaya area? 

If you are going to drain the pool then I would water proof all the fittings in the pool. Maybe also regrout.

We do it regularly.

It could of course be any of the suction lines (including manifold) if air is getting in, which is not to say the returns aren't compromised too. Leak may point to the vac line if if stops there (shell breach?), but bearing in mind all pipes might run through at that level and should there be a popped elbow on either the sump / vac / skimmer (regardless of inlet depth), it could be the culprit. Only pressure test would determine which, or do it the old fashioned way and valve them off/bung em up in succession, looking for cessation of bubbles/leak. Absolutely no need to drain.
