Shall I return the yellow book to the Amphoe?

I have a yellow book in Bangkok, a job in Khon Kaen, a pink non Thai card with my KK address. Renewed my drivers license recently(in Khon Kaen) by showing my Bangkok yellow book. Got my pension from social security in KK, last week, showing my housebook from Bangkok. You are wrong. 

Why do you write " ampoe", do you mean district?
