The choice between narrow-minded English  nationalism ór an een archaïsc form of extreme left.

I wish the English whisdom. The Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish... will form a Gaelic co-federation with Eire inside the EU. Just like the Flamish wants Belgium to go for

The Lib/Dems have reverted to plan A now and are now calling for a second referendum, as they realise that their arrogant approach to democracy is not going down too well with the people who voted in the referendum, whether leave or remain.

Indeed I was astonished to hear Vince Cable speak the Liberal slogan  " Bxxxxxs to Brexit "on the Andrew Marr show which caused  Marr to apologise to the viewers . Plus even having posters printed  to that effect .

I can use gutter language as well as anyone but there comes a time and a place  . Are the Libs still persisting with that slogan ?

Headlines like this are actually counter-productive, as they may get a lot of a#$es off of seats. Whilst on the Tory side, guys are gonna be thinking why bother, we're gonna win by a landslide anyway.

Would you not agree that encouraging the masses to exercise their democratic right is a good thing?

Not if it gets a Corbyn led Labour Party into power, it would be a bad thing.

On a lighter note, Boris Johnson wishes all Scots across Scotland, the UK and the world a happy St Andrews day, and he goes on to say that he is proud to be the Prime Minister of the entire United Kingdom and Scotland.

The way it looks right now the Cons party seems to steam to a comfortable majority in HoC.

Now,

is it a given that such a majority will lead to Brexit being executed?

Surely there must be Tory MPs that are not keen on Brexit, (as there will be Labour MPs that are keen on Brexit).

How good are the whips?

Sorry - I missed your earlier post, but glad to note that you are already moving to a position of acceptance where Scotland and the UK are separate entities. ????

I was emphasing Scotland being in our great Union rather than taking a position "of acceptance"

The Scots do not see the UK and themselves as being separate entities, only the SNP have taken that stance and think they are speaking for the entire Scottish population. Mrs Sturgeon is on record saying that if there was another referendum and the SNP lost again she would continue to press for further referendums. She is driving a wedge between Unionists and Nationalists and needs to get this silly idea of another referendum out of her pretty little head.

Long live the Union.????
