Could not believe my eyes at the blatant improvement of his lie, did it once to remove the sand from the right side of his ball then did the same on the left side, I don't understand why one of the top players in the world would do this, lost any respect I had for him as a player and no doubt he has lost respect from other pro's.

Players are always picking up their balls. Why has this guy got you so upset?

I have watched it and agree that his actions deserve punishment (golf punishment). But didn't it roll off the green and down the slope? Golf gods work in mysterious ways.

 

Personally, I was peeved when Tiger's game was ruined by those ladies taking advantage of him all those years ago. I'm not so bothered what these players get up to in the bedroom; or wherever. But I don't like cheating in sport; just like the OP. Good to have it brought to our attention.

I'm not upset at all just commenting on cheating and why a player of his ability would consider doing it.

Golf, unlike some other sports, is a game where players declare their mistakes/fouls even when there are no witnesses. There are plenty of examples of this, even at the highest level where very high prizes are at stake.

 

Let's all hope that this never changes.
