Prominent Thai Online Shopping Provider - Catch 22

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

I just wanted to organize some online Christmas purchases with Lazada Thailand, but I'm having a catch 22 dilemma.

I have a User Name (email) and password but their system requires a six digit verification code which is generated and sent to your email or to your phone as a text to log in.

As I don't have a local Thai number in Lazada (system is fixed to +66 prefix) my verification code is set to be sent to my email address.

Problem: Lazadas system won't send the verification code.

Catch 22.

1. Replying to Lazadas email (case number) results in auto reply "do not reply to this email - case closed - contact via online chat).

2. Onlne chat can only be accessed once a subcriber logs on first.

If you have issues, trying to liase with Lazada has become a nightmare.

This issue is now atleast 4 weeks.

Can anyone advise??

You could seek advice via their landline number -020180000 .

Also you could get a SIM card .

After you have entered your email and password and clicked on login they show you a page with the button "verify through email", then after this page you get a page where it tells you to enter the 6 digits code. On this page you have to click on the small "SEND" link next to the input box for the 6 digits code, only then will they actually send you the verification mail.

I agree that it seems complicated to just open a new account ????
