Euro has dropped 2.50 Baht? Can't believe this.

Featured Replies

I don't want to drop a bombshell, not at all.

I just now (Friday 13 December 2019 14:15 local Thai time) looked at the Euro rate on Xendpay. It was quoted at 31.17 Baht. What happened? Must be a technical error. Bangkok Bank shows a rate of 33.38 Baht to the EU.

This is from the SCB exchange site. I do not see anything special other than that the exchange rate is slightly up compared to yesterday....

Everything fine then. Xendpay's rate is restored to normal. I just transferred Euros to Thailand at the rate of 33.65 Baht/Euro. Not bad for these days.

Well, I got 33.65 something, see attachment. Apparently, I was at the right place at the right time.
