Future insurance requirements for other visas?

Featured Replies

I was just reading this Pacific Cross article.  https://www.pacificcrosshealth.com/en/o-a-visa/

One section states:  "If the move proves successful, it is anticipated that the requirement will become mandatory for other types of Thai visa including Tourist Visas, Marriage Visas and other forms of long-term visa."

I would think Pacific Cross believes this based on conversations they have had with government officials even though it is not mentioned.

Of course it could just be an advert to get you to buy a policy to stop you worrying about something that might never happen !

Key phrase in the text is If the move proves successful

Well, we can simply rule out that one then...

"Future insurance requirements for other visas?"

Unsure why the OP is asking this question...

There is absolutely nobody here who can give him the answer.

The question mark is there simply because I did not want to make it seem I knew this would occur for certain.  There has been speculation in some of the threads that the insurance requirement might spread to other categories.  Here is a statement from an insurance company that it may indeed happen.  That probably bears more credence than members here speculating that it might happen.
