Can anyone tell me if the Trendy building in Bangkok the right place to register a birth as well as apply for a UK passport, for my daughter?

Absolutely no need to register the birth. Just apply for a UK passport. There will be no issues, so long as the other criteria is met.

    If the child is born in Thailand it should be registered with the Thai Authorities.

    You cannot register the child at the British Embassy or Trendy, as the previous poster says applying for a British Passport will not be a problem if the child qualifies.

    You can register the child in the UK, it’s not a requirement but it means that if the original birth certificate is lost a copy can be obtained.
