Hi All, just after any recent reports from Anadam Club Ranong, is it ok to get a visa exempt? Quick history, I have been on non-O multiple visas for last 3 years (only these in my passport). I have to go to penang in about 2-3 weeks to apply for a non-B, just waiting on the approval letter from Ministry of Labour which will not be ready before my last entry stamp expires on 10th January. I would prefer to avoid going out to get a non-O then having to do it again 2 weeks later for the non-B, a visa exempt from ranong would be best for me if they are issuing those?

Thanks all

If you have a Thai spouse or child, realize that you also have the option of a 60-day extension of your current permission to stay on payment of 1,900 baht at your local immigration office.

You can apply for a work permit and work with a non-o visa or extension of stay based upon upon marriage.

my non-O is based on thai child (not legitamised), I was told by the business accountant as I am not married I can not and would need to change it, is that correct?

It should not be a problem to apply for the work permit with your non-o visa and then extend it based upon working.

Only to apply for a extension based upon being the parent of a Thai requires legitimization of your parenthood.
