Can I get a Bus or a van from the border at Aranyaprathet direct to to Mo Chit 2 Northern Bus Terminal? and if not can anyone give me directions how to make this trip?

In the past I've gotten a Mini Van from the temporary bus station to Pattaya (Take the baht truck from outside the 7-11 at the border) and I'm wondering if I could take a Bus or Van from here?

TIA

No, problem. Try to get a 99 or even better a 999 bus.

They stop only in a few places and are fast in Bangkok.

They all start at the same bus terminal in Aran.

haven't done that run for a couple of years but there used to be plenty of van agencies just up the road on the left once you get out of the immigration building, no problem getting a seat on one. or there is the public bus station in the town, you'd need to get a tuk tuk there, the bus is bigger, slower but safer as the van drivers can be speedy and reckless.

They had a move around a few years ago, I used to walk 4/5 minutes from the border to take a mini van to Pattaya, as I said above, now you have to take the Baht truck from outside the 7-11 to the temporary bus station.

" They all start at the same bus terminal in Aran. "

Is that the bus terminal I mentioned? It looks like it was (Or still is) a covered Market at one point, lots of people sitting at desks for all the different routes, both Mini Vans & Buses run from there.

MOST (if you can understand that word) of the vans and few remaining big buses now run to EKAMAI via the new motorway beyond Chachoengsao, of course you can get off as soon as it hits Bang na for the BTS and some even go via Swampy. On the big line nr on the side of the BoKoSo buses you can see to which terminal they go. Many of the former vans to Mochit2 now end at Rangsit, where there are also a few giant van-stations and most people left the van anyway already there.

Besides that are still the casino buses from right beyond border that end beside Lumpini pk. Mostly 200 bt-leave when full or when they feal like it. A site/blog like movingtocambodia has a generally uptodate info/blog about all the various options. And it even skips the trains that many believe are the only way to go.

Made the journey & yes, there are Vans & Bus's to Mo Chit 2 Northern Bus Terminal.

Mini Vans leave on the hour, 7:30 was the first one I Saw.

First bus leaves at 8:30 and costs 221Bht, I took this for the leg room.

There are now Baht Bus's/ Songthaew's going to & from the border to the temporary bus station, pick up & drop off from outside, or close to the 7-11 at Aran.
