The high-pressure system covering the Northeast and the East of Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening. Strong westerly winds prevail over the North sustaining the cold weather and fog in the upper part of the country.

The plains in the North and the Northeast have cool weather with minimum temperatures in the range of 16-21 degrees Celsius. Mountaintops are cold to very cold with minimum temperatures in the range of 7-15 degrees Celsius. The Central and the East have cool weather with minimum temperatures in the range of 20-24 degrees Celsius. In the daytime, there is strong sunlight. People in the North should beware of thundershowers and gusty winds.

Moderate easterly winds prevail across the lower Gulf and the lower South of the country. In the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat southwards, waves could be 1-2 metres high.
