george
Over 3,000 vehicles sold in 3 days of Motor Show BANGKOK: -- Over 3,000 vehicles have been purchased during the first three days of the Bangkok International Motor Show at Bitec, Bangna, suggesting the relatively huge interest of car buyers despite the murky political and economic climate. Most of the vehicles were reserved on Saturday, according to organisers. Toyota camp snatched the highest sale, 1,400 units, followed by 800 units of Isuzu, 410 by Chevrolet, 404 by Honda and 143 by Mitsubishi. Jaturont Komolmit, vice chairman of the organising committee, on average the show welcomed 100,000 visitors. "Bangkok Motor Show is regarded by foreign investors and media as the biggest auto event in Asean. To the public, this is the chance to explore new technology, new designs and the colourful environment created by auto and motorcycle companies," he said. -- The Nation 2007-04-
